The final chapter of "G-Men From Hell!" arrives with a cover that captures Madman mid-leap above a city street, fist raised and gun in hand, while two sharply dressed men trade shoves below him — one snapping "Chew it, Mattress!" and the other firing back "Not likely, Freak!" Mike Allred's retro-cool linework gives the whole scene the kinetic charm of a Silver Age throwback filtered through his distinctly offbeat sensibility. A satisfying close to a four-part mini-series, this 2000 Dark Horse Maverick issue is pure Allred energy from cover to corner box.
