Madman Comics #19

Issue three of the four-part "G-Men From Hell!" arc, this 2000 Dark Horse Maverick release finds Madman and a crew of companions — including what appears to be a leopard-suited figure and several suited men — scrambling across the fingers of an enormous purple hand that reaches up toward a churning mass of disembodied eyeballs, all framed by licking flames and a determined speech bubble declaring "Evil Must Perish!" Mike Allred's cover art (pencils and inks both his own) captures that irresistible blend of retro-pulp energy and surreal horror that makes this series so distinctive. With colorist Laura Allred lending vivid life to the hellish palette, this penultimate chapter promises the kind of gleefully weird confrontation the cover delivers in spades.
