Love and Rockets #45

Flanking her are four runners-up in colorful swimwear, and a giant stylized face beams down from the upper right like a surreal moon over the festivities. It's a warm, witty snapshot of mid-century spectacle rendered in Hernandez's confident, expressive line work, setting the stage for "Bread, Love and Maria" inside.
