Little Archie Comics Digest Magazine #36
In "Genius at Work," a 1989 issue of Little Archie Comics Digest Magazine, a mysterious boy named Odiko arrives in Riverdale after his spacecraft needs repairs. When he’s spotted by the Good Ol' Gang, his superhuman speed draws their attention—but it’s his unsettling lack of a reflection that sparks fear and division. Written and illustrated by Bob Bolling, with coloring by Barry Grossman and lettering by Bolling himself, the story explores friendship and acceptance through a quiet moment of connection between Little Archie and the outsider who just wants to belong. The cover, by Dexter Taylor, captures the moment of discovery with a classic, nostalgic charm.

After a space vehicle lands on Earth for repairs, a young boy, Odiko, wanders away into Riverdale, where the Good Ol' Gang notices his superhuman speed and asks him to join their baseball team. But most of the gang turns against Odiko when they discover that he has no reflection, although Chuck defends him, arguing that he's a nice kid even if he is different. When Odiko runs away from the angry gang, Little Archie manages to beat him to the Hockomock Swamp and he apologizes to Odiko for the way the gang treated him and gives him a gum ball as a souvenir of Earth.
