Archie's TV Laugh-Out #95

Reggie steals the spotlight on this Dan DeCarlo cover, decked out in an outrageous glam-rock outfit complete with platform boots and a star-studded guitar, while Archie, the drummer, and the girls perform behind him — with a crowd of adoring fans filling the foreground. A speech bubble wryly notes that the Archies appear to be "a very close-knit group — with one possible exception," which tells you everything you need to know about where Reggie's ego stands in 1984. It's a cheerful, well-drawn snapshot of Riverdale's favorite band at their most entertainingly dysfunctional.
