Four young Legionnaires hurl themselves against a towering, robed adversary in the star-filled space backdrop of this August 1993 installment of DC's Legionnaires. Chris Sprouse and Karl Story's cover crackles with kinetic energy — a white-costumed female Legionnaire, a snarling feral figure in tiger stripes, a blond hero, and a teammate in yellow and green all press the attack against the massive staff-wielding opponent looming at the right. The ominous red "4…" in the corner and the story title "New Life, New Death!" promise that T & M Bierbaum have something genuinely consequential in store for this team.
