Kingdom Come #3
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeAlex Ross's painted cover for this 1996 DC Elseworlds series is a striking assembly of heroes and shadows — a red-costumed, arms-crossed Captain Marvel stands front and center, radiating light, while Batman, Wonder Woman, a glowing-eyed villain, Black Canary, and a host of other figures crowd behind him in an uneasy convergence. The tension between that radiant central figure and the brooding faces surrounding him sets an atmosphere of conflict and moral weight that feels entirely fitting for a story called "Up in the Sky." Mark Waid and Alex Ross were crafting something ambitious here, and this third chapter promises to deliver on that scope.
