Justice Society of America #31
The Wrath of Magog!" blazes across this November 2009 issue as the armored, spear-wielding Magog dominates the cover, laying waste to several JSA members in a fiery burst of chaos. Stargirl, the Star-Spangled Kid, and at least two other teammates are caught in the melee — overwhelmed but far from finished. Writers Bill Willingham and Matthew Sturges, with art by Jesús Merino, deliver a chapter of "The Bad Seed" that promises the team's bonds will be tested hard.

While the other members of the team squabble, Dr. Mid-Nite, Dr. Fate, and Green Lantern struggle to save Mr. Terrific’s life. After Flash salvages some of the security footage, he, Power Girl, and Mr. America interrogate the All-American Kid, who protests his innocence. Elsewhere, the remains of the Global Ultra Society of Dread are joined by their employers. Meanwhile, back at the brownstone, Flash is trying to mentor King Chimera when he is summoned to the operating room for bad news about Mr. Terrific.
