“Kung Fu Killer!”

Iron Fist #10 brings the heat — literally — with Dave Cockrum's cover depicting Danny Rand mid-strike, his fist blazing with chi-fueled energy, while Colleen Wing is caught dangerously in the crossfire as police close in from behind. The cover copy "Wanted: Iron Fist — Kung Fu Killer!" sets up a scenario where the hero finds himself hunted rather than celebrated, a tense dynamic that's written by Chris Claremont with art by John Byrne. It's a cracking slice of 1976 Marvel street-level action that captures the series at full throttle.
