In "Iniciação," John Stewart and Katma Tui return to Earth-1 just as the Crisis begins, their mission to help Replikon complete. With the fate of the universe unraveling, John is summoned by Harbinger to meet the Monitor, but Katma’s fear of losing him again pushes her to resist—tension flares between them, though John promises her he’ll return. Meanwhile, Guy Gardner, newly recovered, arrives at Abin Sur’s grave, where he clashes with Hal Jordan, only for a Guardian to intervene.
