Hawk and Dove #3

The tagline says it all: "Kestrel Comes… Kestrel Kills!" — and this third chapter of DC's five-issue 1988 mini-series makes the threat unmistakably clear. The cover, penciled by Jim Valentino and Rob Liefeld and inked by Karl Kesel, thrusts the razor-winged, snarling Kestrel front and center, claws outstretched, while the ghosted faces of Hawk and Dove loom ominously in the fiery orange background behind him. Written by Karl and Barbara Kesel with interior art by Rob Liefeld, this issue promises a collision between the duo and one very dangerous new adversary.
