Hawk and Dove

About the series
In the late 1980s, DC Comics gave the classic duo Hawk and Dove a bold, supernatural revamp. This five-issue series, primarily written by Barbara and Karl Kesel and featuring art by Dave McKean, Joe Brozowski, and Kyle Baker, introduced Dawn Granger as a new Dove alongside a resurrected Hank Hall as Hawk. Pitting the siblings against the villainous Kestrel, the story deepened the characters' philosophical conflict between aggression and peace. It remains a key, visually inventive chapter in the legacy of these DC icons.
