Guy Gardner: Warrior #18

Part one of the four-part "Emerald Fallout" storyline kicks off here, and the cover makes its promise loud and clear — Guy Gardner looms in full-body alien armor, orange-plated and bristling with blue and yellow mechanical limbs, his trademark red hair and steely scowl unmistakable above the imposing suit. The tagline "Armored and Dangerous" says exactly what it needs to. Penciled and inked by Mitch Byrd and Dan Davis, this March 1994 issue finds Guy in a genuinely new mode, and with Chuck Dixon scripting, there's every reason to follow this crossover right from the start.
