Meanwhile, the solar jet remains intact, and Clay Kendall—though injured—survives, though he’s unable to walk. Written by Len Wein and illustrated by Dave Gibbons, with inks by Mike DeCarlo, colors by Anthony Tollin, and letters by Ben Oda, this 1984 issue features a cover by Dave Gibbons.

Green Lantern returns to Earth just as the police and fire crews are cleaning up after the Demolition Team has ruined Ferris Aircraft. Carol blames Hal for everything and Hal asks advice from his other superhero friends before telling Carol he will quit the Green Lantern Corps. Meanwhile, Ferris' solar jet is not damaged and though Clay Kendall survives his injuries, he cannot walk.
