In "From Qward with Hate!", Hal Jordan is captured by the Qwardians after a crushing defeat and brought to their war-torn world, where the villain St'Nilli seeks to harness Hal’s Green Lantern ring to fuel a new Anti-Green Lantern Corps. With help from Arisia, Hal nearly escapes, but is twisted by St'Nilli’s dark powers, turning him against his own kind. The Guardians respond by sending nearly the entire Green Lantern Corps to Qward, launching a massive assault to stop the growing threat.
