Hal wird nach Qward verschleppt und sein Verstand verwirrt. Arisia folgt ihm und muß erleben wie er das Anti-Korps der Grünen Leuchten anführt. Mit Hilfe von 100 weiteren Grüne Leuchten nehmen sie den Kampf auf und zerstören die gefährliche Zentralbatterie. Zurück auf OA muss Hal Jordan das Urteil der Wächter hinnehmen. Seine Haltung zwingt sie zu einem folgenschweren Entschluß. Hal darf für 24 Stunden zurück auf die Erde und danach darf er sie so lange nicht betreten, bis er Buße getan hat.
