Green Lantern #139
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeGreen Lantern stands his ground in this April 1981 issue, ring crackling with green energy as a defeated evil counterpart lies at his feet — yet an entire crowd of men, women, and children surges toward him, making the cover's chilling caption feel all too real. The stakes couldn't feel higher as Hal Jordan faces a threat that isn't one villain but potentially every soul on Earth. With story work from Marv Wolfman and Roy Thomas, art by Joe Staton, and a striking cover by DG, issue #139 is a fine example of the Emerald Gladiator pushed to his absolute limit.
