Part three of "A Guy & His Gnort," this April 1991 issue puts Guy Gardner front and center in a tense standoff that says everything about the cover's bold promise: Guy Gardner vs. the Green Lantern Corps. Joe Staton's cover depicts a defiant, ring-clenched Guy surrounded by a sea of shadowy Corps members bearing glowing lantern symbols, while a red-skinned Green Lantern engages him from above against a star-filled backdrop. With Jones, Staton, and Patterson steering the series, this is a genuinely compelling chapter in one of DC's most entertaining runs of the early nineties.
