Golden-Age Greats Spotlight #17
In "The Book of Doom," the Ghost Rider confronts a haunting legend on the western frontier, where a killer known as Longhair John has left a trail of terror—only to be hanged and seemingly laid to rest. But when a figure matching his likeness returns to haunt the land, the Ghost Rider must face not just a man, but the myth that surrounds him. Dick Ayers' dynamic art and Ernie Bache's inking bring this eerie western mystery to life, with lettering by Ayers himself.
