A serum is developed that can reanimate dead bodies and will be tested on a recently deceased gorilla. A jealous Dr. Weirdler places the brain of the executed criminal named Killer Kole in the gorilla's body. After an apparent failure, the gorilla's body is buried but is struck by lightning and Killer Kole is revived. He breaks out a pair of gorillas from a circus then goes to kill the three judges who sent him to death. Dr. Weirdler informs Captain America and then takes a knife thrown at Cap to atone for his crime. Cap socks Killer Kole off a high-rise and he falls to his death.
