Godzilla reaches San Francisco. The Champions go to the scene and engage Godzilla in battle which ultimately causes Godzilla to destroy the Golden Gate Bridge. S.H.I.E.L.D. arrives and tries to stop Godzilla with electrified nets but Hercules causes them to miss. Hercules then throws a piece of the destroyed bridge at Godzilla but misses and knocks the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier out of the sky causing it to crash into San Francisco Bay. Godzilla seems to be amused watching S.H.I.E.L.D. and The Champions inadvertently fighting one another but gets bored and leaves the city.
