“Prelude To a Private Armageddon!”

This April 1976 Marvel issue teams Ghost Rider with the Son of Satan in what the cover boldly calls "A Very Private Hell!" — and the artwork by Rich Buckler and Dan Adkins delivers on that promise, showing the flame-skulled Ghost Rider and a trident-wielding Son of Satan fighting back-to-back against a horde of snarling demonic creatures while a woman struggles to escape the chaos. The cover caption — "We came into this pit together, Blaze — and that's the way we're going out!" — perfectly captures the unlikely alliance at the heart of this issue's story, "Prelude To a Private Armageddon!" Two of Marvel's most supernatural heroes sharing a single cover made for a genuinely striking visual in 1976, and this one still holds up.
