Ghost Manor #54

Charlton's long-running horror anthology returns with issue #54, its cover by Steve Ditko delivering a genuinely unsettling scene: a wild, fur-covered creature rears up aggressively in a dense forest while two people — a woman in a purple skirt and a young man in plaid — recoil in alarm, question marks hanging in the air between them. The tagline "Visit Ghost Manor… If You Dare" sets the mood perfectly for a January 1981 issue packed with eerie tales, including "The Faceless Ones!" written by Joe Gill with interior art also by Ditko.
