“I'll Love You Forever... And Ever!”

A wedding scene has never looked quite so unsettling — on Sanho Kim's cover for this 1974 Charlton horror anthology, a groom named Richard leans in to kiss his veiled bride while an officiant delivers the familiar words, yet something in the groom's hollow, shadowed expression suggests this union carries a chill well beyond "till death do us part." A ghostly figure lurks in the upper corner, and the story title "I'll Love You Forever… And Ever!" hints that devotion here may be the most frightening thing of all. Ghost Manor #20 is a fine slice of mid-'70s Charlton supernatural storytelling, with interior work by Wayne Howard bringing the dread to life.
