“Homecoming”

Three members of Gen 13 — a red-haired woman in a green bodysuit, a pink-haired woman in a yellow top, and a muscular shirtless young man — scramble desperately through rain and debris while a looming, scarred bald figure with glowing eyes watches from the smoke-filled cityscape behind them. Al Rio's cover crackles with urgent energy, framing the team against lightning-split skies and a city in chaos for this "Homecoming" chapter. Brandon Choi and Rio were firing on all cylinders by issue #22, and this cover alone promises that whatever brought Gen 13 back won't be a warm welcome.
