Based on the world-traveling adventures of broadcaster Lowell Thomas, this 1958 Dell issue promises globe-spanning thrills across two vivid photo-illustrated cover scenes — New Guinea tribesmen gathered in full ceremonial dress and elephants roaming what the cover identifies as Bengal tiger country. Dominating the right side is a striking illustrated close-up of a heavily ornamented indigenous warrior, while smaller photographic panels tease encounters with "New Guinea headhunters on the rampage" and "a Bengal man-eater on the prowl."
