“Terror Town”

Based on the hit TV western, this Dell tie-in puts Hugh O'Brian front and center as the famous marshal Wyatt Earp, photographed in period costume with his long-barreled Buntline Special in hand and that steady, self-assured gaze that made the show appointment viewing in 1957. The cover tagline — "It took brains and a Buntline… to tame the 'Terror Town'!" — sets a nicely tense tone for the "Terror Town" story inside, scripted by Eric Freiwald and Robert Schaefer with art by Russ Manning. A sharp ten-cent package of frontier justice for fans of the small-screen legend.
