Corky meets Colonel Jack, an old man who claims to have had a number of glamorous jobs all over the world. Shortly after the Colonel joins the circus, disasters start to happen, culminating in a fire that destroys the main tent and equipment. The show people think the Colonel is a jinx, but when a tiger escapes, the Colonel takes Corky and his elephant out to capture the big cat.
