Four Color #773
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeDell's Four Color line had a knack for bringing beloved films to the comics page, and this 1957 adaptation of The Brave One — a King Brothers Production distributed by RKO Radio Pictures — is a charming example. The cover photo captures a beaming young boy riding a black bull with easy confidence, flanked by two inset stills: one showing the boy tenderly cradling the animal, and another depicting a matador facing that same dark bull in the ring. For a dime, readers got a vivid comics retelling of a story built on the bond between a child and the bull he loves.
