In "The Secret of Gloomy Gulch," Oswald and the boys stumble upon an old miner and his loyal mule while searching for a forgotten ghost town. After offering the pair a ride to their mine, the miner rewards their kindness by revealing a hidden tunnel leading to a long-lost settlement sealed off by a landslide.

In "A Fine Finish," Oswald, convinced his car needs a fresh coat, sends the boys to the shop for a "Special Body Card"—only for them to return with a hulking, bumbling bodyguard instead. The mix-up sets off a series of comically awkward moments as the oversized guard tries to do his job, leaving Oswald and the boys in over their heads.

In "The Mysterious Job," Oswald finds himself at a mountain cabin owned by the eccentric Mr. Flack, where a series of increasingly absurd trials test his patience. After enduring a parade of peculiar mishaps, he finally secures the role—though not the one he expected—as the straight man to a hilariously exasperating comedian.
