“Flower Trap”

"Flower Trap" is a whimsical 1953 adventure from Four Color #482, where the mischievous Brownies seek a new home—first in Farmer Brown’s mailbox, then caught in a letter and whisked away to the Tractor Co. office, where they encounter a family of mice. Written and illustrated entirely by Don Gunn, with his distinctive art and lettering on both the story and cover, this playful tale captures the Brownies’ chaotic journey through the mail system in a charming, offbeat early comic.
