“Wrong-Way Fireman”

In "Wrong-Way Fireman," Goofy’s dedication to his job at the cracker factory leads to a comically inconvenient situation when he’s stuck at his desk, sipping from his water bottle. Mickey comes up with a clever — if wildly impractical — solution by rigging a long hose to deliver water directly to Goofy’s desk, turning a simple task into a slapstick chain of mishaps. The story, drawn with playful energy by Bob Grant for the cover and illustrated by the Western Publishing Production Shop, captures the lighthearted chaos of classic Disney shorts in a 10-cent 1951 comic.
