Mickey, now a private investigator, takes on a case that’s as odd as it is ordinary: tailing a woman to make sure she doesn’t sneak a snack while on a diet. But when his quiet surveillance leads him into the company of a clever gang of shoplifters, Mickey finds himself caught in a web of mischief far more complicated than a simple diet break.

In "The Black Pearl Mystery," Mickey and Goofy stumble upon a map in a bottle while vacationing in Shark Bay, leading them on a hunt for a sunken ship’s treasure. Meanwhile, Black Pete, posing as a hermit on the shore, has his own plans to claim the loot—before the duo can beat him to it.

Mickey Mouse stumbles upon a tiny, whistling pup who’s escaped from the circus, and with a kind heart, he helps reunite the pup with its owner—only to find himself caught in a twist when the pup runs off again. When Mickey tries to return the pup a second time, the circus owner mistakes him for a thief, setting off a misunderstanding that puts Mickey in a tight spot.
