Santa receives a letter from Teddy Bear saying that the children to which Santa gave him, Matilda Doll, and Blackie the pup last Christmas have mistreated them. Santa sends Trundle the gnome on Blitzen to retrieve the three. He takes Blackie to an animal hospital and then takes the toys to a doll clinic where they are repaired and given to children at a hospital for convalescent children. The dog had been nursed back to health and given to the hospital, too. The three all go home with a boy and girl and are visited by Santa at the next Christmas.
