“Mickey Mouse and the House of Many Mysteries”

In "Mickey Mouse and the House of Many Mysteries," a 1946 Four Color comic, Mickey and Minnie find themselves stranded in the desert—only to be rescued by a mysterious radio-controlled car that whisks them to a hidden palace. There, they meet a peculiar inventor and his silent Indian servant, who’s working on a strange invention meant to keep people awake, with results that are far from ordinary. With art by Dick Moores and inks by George Waiss, and a cover by Harvey Eisenberg, this whimsical adventure blends mystery and mechanical marvels in a tale that’s as curious as it is classic.
