Four Color #1140
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThis charming 1960 Dell issue finds Donald Duck in full photographer mode, manning a tripod-mounted camera while coaxing a little yellow bird into frame as a prop — all in an effort to get Huey, Dewey, and Louie to sit still on the sofa for a portrait. The nephews, naturally, have other ideas: one waves a slingshot overhead while the others squirm with barely contained mischief. The cover, penciled and inked by Carl Barks, captures that perfect domestic chaos that made Donald's world so endearing, and the interior story "Mad Money" — with art by Tony Strobl and inks by Steve Steere — promises more of the same warm, comedic Duck family fun.
