First Wave #3
"First Wave Book Three" delivers a pulse-pounding chapter in DC’s bold, interconnected saga, with Brian Azzarello’s sharp writing and Rags Morales’ dynamic art bringing high-stakes action to life. From John Sunlight’s tense swim to Batman’s desperate fight against the Right Red Hand cultists, every thread tightens—especially when the Avenger intervenes to save Batman, leading him to Hildago where Colossi’s robot holds Johnny. J. G. Jones’ striking cover captures the chaos, while the interior team of Morales, Bryant, Almond, Ruffino, and Robins crafts a world where danger is constant and allies are few.
