Fantomen #18/1999
In "Under falsk flagg," the 16th Fantomen finds himself in post-Civil War America, where he uncovers a chilling deception: Spanish agents disguised as Union soldiers are smuggling freed slaves onto a ship bound for a new life of bondage in Cuba. With the help of a daring plan and a revolutionary new invention from Alfred Nobel, the Fantomen thwarts their scheme—just as a Swedish-engineered armored boat becomes the key to stopping them. Written by Scott Goodall and Lennart Allen, with art by Romano Felmang and cover by Rolf Gohs.
