Joe and Knobby are at the Portland Elks Annual Clambake. Joe is going to play baseball, so Knobby decides to get a barber shop quartet together. One of the men reluctantly dragged in as bass turns out to hate singing. Joe later finds the three other singers standing with a foot apiece on the bass singer.
