Exiles #60
Tied to Marvel's 10th Anniversary Age of Apocalypse celebration, Exiles #60 kicks off "Son of Apocalypse Part One" with a cover that puts the team front and center in full combat mode. Jim Calafiore and Mark McKenna pack the image with a green-skinned woman crackling with pink energy, a Thor-like warrior charging forward, a massive roaring leonine beast looming above, and a feral figure wielding a weapon — all framed against a looming white-haired face that dominates the background. Writer Tony Bedard and the Calafiore/McKenna art team promise a dimension-hopping story with real stakes and a fittingly wild cast of alternates.

As punishment for disobedience to his wishes, Timebroker transports the Exiles, sans Beak, to the world of Age of Apocalypse and introduces them to their new teammate, Holocaust. Holocaust snubs his new comrades and flies off to find Sinister but stumbles across the remains of the M'Kraan crystal. He returns to the Exiles with a plan to use the crystal to track down the Timebroker and end his hold over the time-displaced team once and for all.
