“Son of Apocalypse Part Two”

Three dimension-hopping heroes charge forward against a massive, ominous backdrop of flesh and fire in Jim Calafiore and Mark McKenna's cover for this 2005 installment of Marvel's reality-jumping series. Leading the charge is a steely, armored figure in yellow and gold, flanked by a blue-skinned woman and a silver-skinned warrior — all three looking battle-hardened and urgent as something enormous and monstrous looms behind them. Bearing the 10th Anniversary Age of Apocalypse seal, Exiles #61 — "Son of Apocalypse Part Two" — promises a team pushed to their limits in one of Marvel's most harrowing alternate realities.
