They catch up with their old teammate and discover the dire consequences to Blink of not having fulfilled their mission the last time they were on this world. Tired of the life of an Exile, Blink tries to get rid of the Tallus which causes a more sinister Timebroker to appear. After Blink refuses another mission which calls for the death of Mimic, Timebroker promises the team that they will be punished for their disobedience.
