In "Edderkoppen kikser!", a painter is hired to coat a mysterious statue with strange paint—only to discover at midnight that the sculpture has come to life and begun a midnight rampage. With help from his wits and a can of turpentine, he finds a way to stop the living statue, unaware it’s just the first of many alien advance agents. Written by Stan Lee and Larry Lieber, with dynamic art by Jack Kirby and inks by George Klein, this 1973 issue features a cover by John Romita, whose pencils and inks bring the eerie, otherworldly threat to life.
In "Klumpen," a lone painter is hired to coat a mysterious statue with an unusual paint, unaware that at midnight the sculpture awakens and begins to rampage.
