Luna takes Valentine around the world, discovering many of his old allies have been killed by his enemies. At a wake for Luna's one-time lover Maggie Mars, Luna attempts to eulogize her but in a way which glorifies himself and upsets the family. Members of the Church of Luna kidnap Luna and Valentine and place them on a plane bound for Iceland, worshipping Luna as they fly.
