“Chapter One”

In "Chapter One" of Deathbed #1, writer Joshua Williamson and artist Riley Rossmo launch a chilling tale where ghostwriter Valentine is drawn into a deadly game when her subject, Luna, reveals he’s faking his deathbed to lure out his enemies. With mummy assassins already dead and Luna’s true intentions unclear, Valentine agrees to accompany him as he hunts those who wronged him—knowing she’ll witness his real death, if it comes. The cover by Riley Rossmo captures the eerie, high-stakes atmosphere of this twisted origin.
