Crazy Magazine #34
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeMarvel's humor magazine "The Magazine That Dares to Be Dumb" is in fine form with this February 1978 installment, billing itself as the "Sensational New Who Needs Turkey? Issue." Bob Larkin's cover painting delivers a pitch-perfect holiday-table parody, with a broadly grinning couple presiding over a enormous platter piled high with peanuts — a very on-the-nose nod to the era's most famous peanut farmer — while a gaggle of wide-eyed, baffled dinner guests stare in disbelief at the distinctly un-traditional feast. At sixty cents, Crazy #34 captures the irreverent, anything-for-a-laugh spirit that made Marvel's answer to Mad a genuinely fun read throughout the late '70s.
