An anthology issue featuring Captain Triumph in "Another Slam Bang Action-Packed Story" and Pen Miller, a cartoonist detective who finds material for his pen and ink stories in his own detective work. In the Pen Miller story, the cartoonist receives word that "Swifty" McGore wants to make peace and requests a phone call at nine o'clock to discuss forgiveness, leading to a planned meeting. The issue also contains a comedic story involving a nearsighted man named Bumble who mistakes his new female neighbor's affectionate gestures toward her daughter as romantic advances toward himself, resulting in various misunderstandings and physical comedy.
