Crack Comics #10 is an anthology featuring multiple heroes. In an Alias the Spider story, the villain creates an explosive soap compound that detonates when wet; Wells attempts to use it against the Spider at a river rendezvous, but the Spider intervenes and the soap explodes, narrowly killing Wells. In a separate story, Richard Stanton calls on his friend Professor Mason, a chemist, only to discover that Mason's son Robert was kidnapped years ago; a mysterious figure named Great Scott the Jester appears and demands Mason hand over a valuable government formula, threatening to reveal what happened to the missing boy.

The Spider infiltrates a waterfront hijacking operation run by the mysterious Falcon, a vessel used to capture and imprison American sailors. Diving aboard the raider ship, the masked vigilante uncovers the crew's deadly scheme, frees the imprisoned men, and battles the Falcon's captain and crew with cunning weapons and quick thinking. In true Spider fashion, he turns the tables on the criminals and vanishes into the night, leaving the grateful sailors to wonder at his methods.
