This volume collects issue #39 of the 1983 Conan el Bárbaro series, published by Planeta DeAgostini. It continues the Spanish-language reprints of the classic Marvel Comics run featuring Robert E. Howard's iconic Cimmerian warrior, with stories of sword-and-sorcery adventure in the Hyborian Age.
Conan the Barbarian #11 (1983) features the story "Venganza en Asgalun," with Conan navigating the treacherous streets of Asgalun, a city steeped in intrigue and danger. The issue is illustrated by John Buscema, with inks by Ernie Chan, colors by Marie Severin, and lettering by Agustín Zorzo, based on a script by Roy Thomas and additional writing by Ángeles Aledo and Moncho Cordero. The cover, penciled by Gil Kane and inked by Ernie Chan, captures Conan in a moment of fierce resolve.
In "El pozo de Skelos," Conan finds himself entangled in a deadly web of betrayal and survival on a remote island, where Belit guards her hoard of gold. When Kawaku leads a mutiny against her, only to die in the attempt, Conan's life is spared by Belit, M'gora, and Laranga—leaving him bound to their perilous quest.
