In "Um die Rache betrogen...", Zula and Belit finally claim their vengeance, their paths forged in fire and blood. With Belit offered the crown of Asgalun, she turns it down, choosing a different kind of destiny. As the dust of retribution settles, Zula, Conan, and Belit set sail once more, the horizon calling them beyond the known world.

In "Atombis neuer Herrscher," a desperate chase unfolds as Zula leaves with Yarunga, Lasanga, Ajonga, and the other corsairs, fleeing the shadow of the Beast-King. With Belit and Conan closing in, their assault turns to chaos when Belit is seized and Conan is thrown from a cliff’s edge.

In "Die Meerjungfrau," a blue-skinned sea-woman is taken aboard the Tigress, where her haunting presence drives two crewmen to their doom. As the ship's crew reels from her eerie influence, Conan narrowly escapes her grasp—saved not by strength, but by the fierce loyalty of Belit. Meanwhile, N’yaga begins to fall ill, her condition deepening as the mystery of the sea-woman’s true nature unfolds.
